Sereno’s 1% For Good Charitable Foundation had very humble beginnings in 2012 when we awarded our first grant to Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue for $5,000. Just thirteen years later at Christie’s Sereno, we have donated more than $6,700,000 in funding to more than 600+ Local nonprofits!

Organizations can apply for one Education Fund grant for $2,500 per fiscal year.
We believe everyone should have equal access to economic opportunity, nutritious food and safe housing. That’s why we support organizations like the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, Hunger at Home and Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence.
Organizations can apply for one Equity & Access Fund grant for $2,500 per fiscal year.
We believe everyone should have access to clean air and water, live free from hunger, have a safe place they call home, and the opportunity to create the life of their dreams. That’s why we support organizations like Loaves & Fishes, Habitat For Humanity, and Momentum for Mental Health.
We accept Community Impact grant applications on an ongoing basis. The selection process takes place quarterly in each of our regions. The final decision is made by our agents and staff via a region-wide ballot. Our grant varies in dollar amount but generally ranges between $5,000 to $15,000.
We believe during the toughest of times it’s our responsibility to step up and support the most vulnerable. That’s why we support organizations on the frontlines like Second Harvest, Santa Cruz Community Health and SOS Meals on Wheels.
Organizations can apply for one Disaster Relief Fund grant for $2000 per fiscal year.
